Hummus is a great Mediterranean dip that goes well with pita and corn chips. It can also be used in sandwiches.

Ingredients
Canned Chickpeas (kabuli chane) | 1 cup |
Tahini Sauce | 2 tsp |
Extra Virgin Olive Oil | 1/2 cup |
Garlic clove | 1 clove |
Fresh lime juice | 1 -2 tbsp |
Salt | 1/4 tsp |
Method
- Drain the chickpeas.
- Mix everything in a blender to a smooth paste and it’s ready to serve. Optionally you can top it with a teaspoon of olive oil. Hummus is ready.
- It goes well with Pita Bread, sandwiches and corn chips.
- You can store it in refrigerator for a few days.
- You could also make it from dry chane. Just soak them overnight. Boil till soft with a little salt. Drain and use.
