You can buy pickled Jalapeno from the stores but if you can’t find it, worry not, you can make it at home very easily.

Ingredients
Fresh Jalapeno | 500 gm |
White Vinegar | 1 liter |
Salt | 2 tsp |
Method
- Wash jalapenos and chop them in rings.
- Boil vinegar and salt with half liter of water.
- Once it starts boiling, add jalapenos.
- Cook it uncovered on medium heat for 10 minutes and then turn off the heat.
- Cool them and store in refrigerator along with the liquid. Pickled Jalapeno is ready.
Notes
- Don’t over cook the peppers. They should still stay a little crunchy after the cooking.
- You can even pickle them whole with a slit in the middle so that they are cooked from inside.
- These can be used in pizzas, tostadas, burritos, tamales, salads, sandwiches, salsa etc.
