Jona has a unique knack of creating a fusion between eastern and western cooking. On one hand she cooks traditional Maharashtrian food and on the other hand she can whip up all sort of cakes, cookies and salads in no time.
Kusum Jain
Kusum Jain
Kusum has over 60 years of cooking experience and has delighted four generations with her delectable cooking. One of the most amazing things is that she remembers all proportions of all the recipes on her finger tips. I have never seen her writing down any recipe. Though she mostly cooks traditional Indian food, she continues to adopt the tastes of new generations and the use of modern appliances in her cooking.

Raka had the inclination for cooking right from her college days. She did her homescience degree from Pantnagar University and then she did her diploma in Dietetics from the Institute of Home Economics in Delhi. She is an excellent cook and loves to cook everything at home.

I like variety in my food and I like to eat healthy. I realized that the best way to achieve a balance between the two is by learning to cook and experiment. I love traditional family recipes because they use simple ingredients and simple processes. The inspiration for this website came when I realized that even my mom has forgotten some of the recipes that our grandmother used to make. I want to make sure that our next generation has all the recipes we make, just a few clicks away.
